CNN Should Thank Bishop Long For The Sex Scandal

CNN is now experiencing its worst ratings in 10 years therefore any news is actually good news for the struggling network. Fox News Network has proven to be the Alpha Male in the wild world of media conglomerates.

Out of all the things Bishop Eddie Long had working against him in the recent sex scandal the one the thing that definitely hurt his efforts was the local reporting by CNN. Bishop Eddie Long's church New Birth is only miles away from the CNN news room which could explain why the story made national news in minutes.

Pastors are entrenched in scandals all the time say a spokesperson for the Preacher Bureau of Investigation(www.PimpPreach.com) "but having CNN in your backyard during a slow ratings period proved to be the main ingredient needed to take the story viral. "

"Not to diminish the accusations levied against Bishop Eddie Long but I can't help but wonder if this story would have been as big in any other city. Pastors are always involved in some sort of scandal but the coverage of their moral flaws is mainly handled by the local evening news."

CNN is now experiencing its worst ratings in 10 years therefore any news is actually good news for the struggling network. Fox News Network has proven to be the Alpha Male in the wild world of media conglomerates and with the possible addition of Juan Williams (formerly of NPR), Fox News should continue its epic March to the Sea.

CNN placed all of its hopes and dreams on their latest show "Parker Spitzer" only to receive rating reports that indicated that their new dream team couldn't even beat out Nancy Grace and her Office of Child Protection Brigade. Unless CNN is ready to write a really fat check made out to Jon Stewart, Fox News will continue to pimp slap them in every time slot.

The only spike CNN has enjoyed in the ratings war has come from the up to the minute reporting on Bishop Eddie Long and the coverage of rouge interviews delivered by one of the accusers Jamal Parris. The Preacher Bureau of Investigation says with all things considered, the Bishop Eddie Long Sex Scandal continues to attract a steady flow of loyal visitors daily seeking new updates from either the accusers or the congregation at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

Unless something major happens over the next 10 days all CNN has to look forward to are the mid-term elections in which the FOX News political team has all ready begun to secure the number one ratings spot. Unless Bishop Eddie Long makes another major screw up CNN may have to find another sex scandal involving a preacher to sensationalize after the November Elections. Bishop Eddie Long may want to stay inside, just a suggestion.
