Circle of Sisters 2016 Presents Some of the Biggest Names in Entertainment at the Jacob Javits Center NYC
New York, NY, October 5, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Circle of Sisters 2016, is even bigger this year in releasing the desired cast of entertainment, health, food, business, women of color, and of course, men. Sister Circles are critical in addressing support from other Blacks in the industry to build upon existing friendships, fictive kin networks, and a sense of community founded upon African American females. A Cultural Infusion was born ten years ago to understand one's self by using Cultural Competency under the framework of mental health and substance abuse. The primary goal was to address or facilitate change that co-occurred as a disordered to best address examples of what distracts the African American from cultural competency. Today, after many successful years of presenting the New York Circle of Sister's events, revelations and new directions have taken African Americans to an atmosphere where people are free to build and dream better business models as leaders. The incorporation of Black culture and cultural identity is an organizational function best described by AARP New York & hosted by Emmis New York's WBLS-FM 107.5, your #1 source for R&B, 1190 WLIB-AM, your home for Gospel & Inspiration, and WQHT-FM HOT 97, Where Hip Hop Lives.
On Saturday, October 15th and Sunday, October 16th at the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan, some of the biggest names in entertainment, health, food, business and more are scheduled to participate at this year's event. A one-on-one panel discussion with television host & news broadcaster, Robin Roberts will illustrate how her career continues to be a success year after year. The MetroPlus Performance Stage will present shows, presentations, and special guest appearances by singer/songwriter, Joe, actor/singer, Rotimi, and singer/producer, Mario.
HealthFirst Cooking Pavilion will present celebrity chefs Bobby Brown, Pat Neely, Vonda McPherson, Melba, and more, including unique scrumptious vegan recipes from former NBA Champion, Jon Salley. Miss USA 2016, Deshauna Barber, will speak out about her Military background, and casting from the Ashley Stewart Fashion Show Campaign will present the latest fashion trends in the industry. Let's not forget, if you have not purchased your tickets for the Sunday morning MetroPCS Gospel Explosion, with electrifying, spiritually filled performances by Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Tye Tribbett, VaShawn Mitchell, and newly added JJ Hairston, with the hit song, "You Deserve It," then you missed an early morning touch from the Lord.
