CAS Earns Third Consecutive FAA Diamond Award of Excellence
ONTARIO, Calif., March 4, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Certified Aviation Services, LLC (CAS), was awarded the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Diamond Award of Excellence for their component repair shop. This is the third consecutive year CAS has been awarded the Diamond Award of Excellence, continuing its commitment of carrying a high standard of excellence in component maintenance.
The FAA Diamond Award of Excellence is the most prestigious award in the FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Awards Program. To qualify for the award, 100 percent of eligible employees must earn an individual AMT Certificate of Training during a calendar year which means each eligible employee must complete a minimum of 12 hours of training. The award is designed to reward those technicians and companies who participate in additional training that exceeds FAA rules, regulations and industry standards.
Brad Caban, President of CAS Components, said, “CAS has worked hard to make training part of our DNA. It’s an investment where the benefits outweigh the cost. This year I decided to participate in the technical training which gave me an insight on our trainers, training material and opportunities that will help us continue to enhance what we provide our team. It was not only enjoyable and informative, but a good way to ensure that our own operations encompassed the material we reviewed.”
CAS operates its FAA Certified Component Repair Shop in Fairhope, Alabama. The shop specializes in repairing and overhauling commercial and military aircraft pneumatics as well as hydraulic and mechanical components.
