Camp Bournedale Opens Registration for Boy's Summer Camp Programs

Online, March 31, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Offered are 3 ½ week or 7 week overnight sessions for boys between the ages of 7 and 16. The 7-week session runs from June 29th through August 17th. The 3 ½ week sessions run from June 29th through July 23rd, and from July 25th through August 17th.

Great camping values spanning two family generations have established this summer camp legacy. Located on Plymouth's Great Herring Pond, Camp Bournedale incorporates structured sports, activity programs and free play in a safe, enthusiastic atmosphere. Renowned for superb athletic instruction and facilities, the property boasts seven tennis courts, two ball fields, and two outdoor basketball courts, all lighted for night play. Outstanding training clinics are held in tennis, golf, soccer, and basketball. An exciting water sports program includes swimming, tubing, waterskiing, knee boarding, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, giant water trampoline and scuba diving instruction.

Facilities include modern cabins staffed by carefully trained counselors. A structured daily schedule allows each camper to experience a vast array of activities. Campers are appropriately grouped in Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior divisions according to age, grade, maturity and friendship. A well-equipped medical infirmary and staff are located on site. Special on and off-campus programs are planned each evening, and destination trips are scheduled on Fridays. All campers earn an American Red Cross swim certification during their stay. Airport transportation is available.
