To respond to this requirement, Lanner, a global leading supplier in network appliances, introduces its Wi-Fi/3G/4G/LTE NIC module “NCS2-MINIPCIE01A”, aiming to bring wireless network connectivity to compatible Lanner network appliances and help enterprises save maintenance and management costs.
This NCS2 NIC module incorporates Wi-Fi/3G/4G/LTE wireless network connectivity, designed to enable Lanner network appliance with wireless connections through 1 x PCIe Gen 3.0 x 8 interface. The module comes with two mini-PCIe slots and two SIM card readers, allowing users to install Wi-Fi/3G/4G/LTE compatible modules and SIM cards. This will give compatible Lanner network appliances a wider variety in network interface options by offering both wired and wireless Internet connections. Enterprises will save considerable amount of maintenance and management effort with wireless enabled network appliances no matter in firewall, UTM, IPS or VPN applications.
In addition, the module comes with two antenna inputs, allowing users to insert antennas for signal reception purposes.
