Bethel AME Church Partners with Ann Arbor Community Radio
Online, June 13, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Ann Arbor Community Radio (A2CR) has announced its first program partnership with Bethel AME Church in Ann Arbor. The historic church has maintained an influential presence within the African American community in Ann Arbor for generations. Ann Arbor Community Radio will now stream an hour long weekly show titled Bethel Sunday Praise comprised of worship services from the Bethel AME audio archive. The program will be available to listeners via the station website. "We're a dynamic and growing church. It's always exciting to find new ways to connect with the community. We believe this partnership will help us be even more effective" said Pastor Joseph N. Cousin of Bethel AME Church.
The new radio show is ultimately expected to be broadcast on the low power FM station currently in development. "There are very few institutions that have had a more direct impact in the local community than Bethel AME.
