2011 has been a banner year for SandStar. Along with celebrating their 30th year building and remodeling in Charlotte County (FL) they have been recognized for the work they've done in their hometown.
Online, September 29, 2011 (Newswire.com) - At their annual Awards and Installation Banquet this past Saturday, the Charlotte County (FL) Chamber of Commerce awarded Arthur Rutenberg/SandStar Homes & SandStar Remodeling the 2011 Small Business of the Year! In announcing the award, the Chamber gave this concise description of SandStar's past year...
"From an all time recession low in 2008-09, they sold 14 homes in 2010 and by July 2011 had 16 new homes under contract. Their remodeling division has had an increase of 300-400% since January 2010 & they've put hundreds of local subcontractors back to work. Their aggressive approach to marketing included a revamped website, email marketing, Facebook and a new blog. And it worked! They were awarded the "2011 Builder of the Year" by the Rutenberg franchise and their new Coquina model was the "2011 Model of the Year (under 3200 sq ft)".
