Population Health Management Webinar for Healthcare providers and payers

VitreosHealth recently hosted a webinar on “Leadership Competencies for Successful ACOs”. The webinar described the critical skills required for the leaders to make the public and private ACOs successful.

Today's healthcare system demands a strong effective leadership from physicians as it is changing from fee-for-service payment to a pay-for-performance model.

In a recent article published by Health Affairs titled “The First National Survey of ACOs Finds That Physicians Are Playing Strong Leadership and Ownership Roles” cites that 51 % of ACOs were physician-led, with another 33% jointly led by physicians and hospitals. In 78 % of ACOs, physicians constituted a majority of the governing board, and physicians owned 40 %of ACOs.
