2017 West Coast to East Coast NGV Road Rally
Hilliard, Ohio, June 9, 2017 (Newswire.com) - GAIN Clean Fuel is proud to announce it will be hosting a stop on the 2nd annual “From Sea-to-Shining-Sea” NGV Road Rally Across America. The event will start at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 1710 Atlas Street, Hilliard, Ohio, and is open to the public.
This event will kick off at 11 a.m. with lunch compliments of GAIN Clean Fuel. A presentation at 11:30 a.m. will include the CNG driver hand-off of the baton, comments from local dignitaries and a special commitment to growth award announcement. At 12:30 p.m., Clean Fuels Ohio with host a pop-up workshop called “Funding your CNG Vehicle” and explore various upcoming Ohio funding options. Attendees will also see firsthand how the Clean Fuels Ohio Midwest DRIVES program can help kick start a CNG fleet.

This year’s NGV Road Rally, presented by NGVAmerica, the American Public Gas Association (APGA) and the American Gas Association (AGA), highlights the many benefits of using clean-burning, domestic natural gas in transportation and the variety of vehicles available today that operate on natural gas.
Stretching from west coast to east coast, the road rally not only dispels the myth of NGV “range anxiety” but will also draw media attention to the historic VW settlement program and serve to educate state officials on how NGVs are the most cost-effective use of funds for clean transportation projects outlined in the $2.9 billion Environmental Mitigation Trust Fund.

This year’s 18-stop, 4,825-mile journey starts outside of Long Beach, CA, on Monday, June 5 and concludes in Washington, D.C., on Friday, June 16.
