Metro Comedy Set to Launch 30 City Comedy Tour
Revolutionary Race Barrier Breaking Comedy Tour Launching in over 30 US Cities and Canada
New York, NY, May 14, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Metro Comedy Entertainment, a company founded in 2008 by comedian Ed Blaze, announced recently that they are launching a revolutionary comedy tour designed to break through race barriers. This tour will be visiting over 30 cities throughout North America in 2016.
Blaze recognized an issue inherent in comedy – white comedians have a largely white audience, while black comedians have a largely black audience. He stated, “Chris Rock has 90% black fans, and Louis CK has 90% White fans, but you put them both together in one show - you get a great mixed audience, and break the barriers of getting labeled as one race comedian.”
