Hearty Homes Group Announces Their Top Real Estate Agent Darren Nofziger of Acworth, GA, was Recently Honored by Keller Williams Cityside with the Prestigious 2014 Rookie of the Year Award

It’s true that everybody loves a rookie.  They are usually young, energetic and have spent years coaching and training for their big moment to shine.  While “young” might not describe Darren Nofziger, Lead Agent of Hearty Homes Group, his energy with years of coaching and training definitely came into play to snag this prize.  He was able to accomplish a lot in his first year as a licensed real estate agent for Keller Williams Cityside

Mr. Nofziger was eligible to apply for Cobb County Board of Realtors’ Multi-Million Dollar Club his very first year.  Ultimately, Darren decided Hearty Homes Group’s marketing dollars would have more impact elsewhere.  Plus he felt the need to remain humble which helps to balance his intense drive for excellence.  Darren brought on, trained and still mentors 3 agents by starting his own team.  This he accomplished before his first year anniversary as a realtor.  This is a milestone that can take agents years to reach if at all.

Ceci Osburn, Managing Broker and award presenter for Keller Williams Cityside (the Smyrna / Vinings Location) had this to say about Mr. Nofziger.  “We all knew almost right away that Darren would be a game changer.  Most agents spend the first year or two developing their sales and negotiation skills.  Of course Darren had those skills right out of the gate.  He had a serious advantage because he just needed to learn the real estate aspect which is the easy part.”

Don’t let his “Rookie” status fool you.  Darren is no stranger to real estate and definitely not to sales.  He has spent the last 8 years as a real estate investor.  In fact, he had gotten really good at selling distressed homes in bad areas owned by his investment partnership.   This got his wife encouraging him to get his license.  “Imagine what you can do selling pretty houses in great areas!” 

Darren Nofziger has 20 years of high level sales experience across multiple industries mostly in financial, telecom and technology.  He has been awarded top salesman in some capacity or another for every company who has employed him.  This isn’t what makes him so good at sales.  Darren is a people person pure and simple.  He’s never met a stranger and has a true desire to serve and protect others which was evident by his service in the US Navy.

About his award Darren had this to say…  “It was totally unexpected but such an absolute honor to be recognized by my peers in this way.  I suspect next year it is going to be Rose.”  Rose Bond is one of the agents he mentors on his team. 

When asked what he contributed to his success he responded with “Keller Williams has the best training period.  The resources they offer buyers and sellers help us look professional.  It empowers them to get involved and stay engaged.  The tools and technology offered made a huge impact but only because I have the administrative support to help me get it implemented.”

Darren leads his team of Realtors under the name Hearty Homes Group.  Most real estate agents brand their names.  However, Darren bucked that trend stating…  “It was important that we not make this company about “Darren Nofziger”.  We are a team that can’t reach our full potential without each other.  We want our agents to feel an important part of what we are building because they are.  We also don’t want to compete with each other.  We want our clients at the center of our attention and service.  It is all about serving them - Helping them find the perfect home for them or getting them top dollar for their house quickly.  We always want to be reminded that they are why our heart is in it.”
