Zorloo Introduces Its Third-Generation Portable HiFi USB-DACs, ZuperDAC Pro and ZuperDAC Max

HONG KONG, September 13, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Zorloo is pleased to introduce its 3rd generation ZuperDAC family, ZuperDAC Pro and ZuperDAC Max. They are both configured in a tiny dongle form factor with USB-C input and analog audio output. ZuperDAC Pro supports 3.5mm single-ended audio output, whereas ZuperDAC Max supports either 3.5mm single-ended or 4.4mm balanced audio output. Users will be ensured the best audio quality and listening experience from their music collection or music streaming.

They are very small and measured at only 39mm x 12mm x 7mm for ZuperDAC Pro and 46mm x 21.5mm x 10.5mm for ZuperDAC Max. They possess playback capability of High Definition PCM audio up to 768kHz (16x CD resolution) and DSD audio up to 22.5MHz (8x SACD resolution, aka DSD512). These sampling rates enable users to enjoy Hi-Res Lossless music streaming (like Apple Music, Amazon HD, Deezer, Qobuz, Tidal, etc) without compromising audio quality due to downsampling conversion. They also have built-in MQA Renderer and support MQA full decoding for Tidal streaming and MQA contents.

Based on a minimalist design approach, ZuperDAC Pro and ZuperDAC Max are known for their simplicity and elegance. With a smooth matte finish, the black aluminum chassis provides strong protection. The use of LED status indication is kept to an absolute minimum and avoids any disturbance to the user. The status LED indicator shows blue for standard definition content, red for high definition content and magenta for MQA content. There is an additional boost LED indicator on ZuperDAC Max that shows green for boost mode.

Both designs support USB Audio Class 2 standard and work on all popular OS platforms (Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, Windows 10/11). With the included USB-C cable and USB-A adapter, users can connect to their PC/Mac or smartphone and output to your headphone or HIFi system. There is also a lightning cable option (sold separately) for iPhone/iPad connectivity. ZuperDAC Pro detects the user's headphone impedance and automatically selects 1Vrms or 2Vrms output. ZuperDAC Max has a boost button to vary the output level (1Vrms/2Vrms for 3.5mm audio output and 3Vrms/5Vrms for 4.4mm audio output) for different headphones and output requirements.

The suggested retail prices are USD $99 for ZuperDAC Pro and USD $149 for ZuperDAC Max. Zorloo will launch a crowdfunding campaign for ZuperDAC Pro and ZuperDAC Max in October 2022.
