Cornelius, an ordained minister for over twenty plus years has seen much more than he cared to, and heard more than he wished to "behind the scenes" of the pulpit.
In light of the most recent scandal surrounding Bishop Eddie Long, the book has gained much more interest, and causing more and more people to re-think the authenticity of "prosperity preaching" and preachers. Patricia said that they are receiving more and more emails from people asking questions like-- "will God stop blessing me if I stop tithing due to financial hardships" or "should we continue to support our pastor when he is continuously requesting more and more money but we do not see where the money is going?" Questions like these and more are increasing everyday as we hear more about mega-churches and pastors gone-wild.
Cornelius stated that he and Patricia teamed up over a year ago to pen "Zombies In The Church" but due to the increasing news stories of corruption, hypocrisy, nepotism and dictatorship inside the churches of today more attention has been given to their book.
The authors have been interviewed on several television and radio shows, especially numerous times on blogtalkradio/Churchfolk Revolution stressing the fact that their book is in no way "bashing" the church or the church members but it is however telling people to read the Word for themselves and be more watchful as well as careful of ministries that stress the need for tithes and or offerings as a means by which you receive blessings-because it is not the true gospel it is man-made heresy to obtain money, and power in a selfish conning way using scriptures as a scare tactic.
