The American Association of Daily Money Managers-Greater New York Chapter Announces its Inaugural Regional Conference Saturday, January 22, 2011, 8:30am - 4pm
Online, December 6, 2010 (Newswire.com) - We invite all those engaged in daily money management to join us for a day of knowledge and learning in key areas to support your practice.
Program Highlights:
Marketing (1 ½ hours):
A fast paced and highly practical exploration of all sides of business networking, sometimes called the good, the bad and the ugly. We'll cover low tech marketing, physical networking, and social networking so you can learn the best of class practices to open doors and make connections that will ultimately culminate in new business opportunities. We'll explore the ins and outs of networking, the pros and cons of specific types of events, how to open and close conversations and ultimately how to do it more effectively (and efficiently) and even have some fun at the same time.
Protecting Client Information (1 ½ hours):
An informative look at how identity theft occurs and how the threat of identity theft affects the job of the daily money manager. We'll examine what can be done to protect the client and reduce DMM liability, including a comprehensive overview of computer data protection - from strong passwords to physical security to backups, on site and off-site.
Technology (1 ½ hours):
A wide-ranging presentation on the tools that can best help DMMs. Compare the most popular financial software and online applications based on their features and ease-of-use. Explore ways to improve productivity including using systems for CRM - Customer Relationship Management. Discuss best practices and how to make the right choices for your business.
Breakfast and Lunch are included, and there will be other opportunities to network with and get to know members of the Greater New York Chapter

The American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM) is a national membership organization representing individuals and businesses in the growing profession of daily money management. These professionals provide personal financial/bookkeeping services to senior citizens, the disabled, busy professionals and others. Daily Money Management services meet a continuum of needs, from organizing and keeping track of financial and medical insurance papers, to assisting with check writing and maintaining bank accounts. The AADMM is committed to promoting high standards of client services provided by members, and to supporting the growth of the daily money management industry, in numbers of providers, in recognition of the field, and in the quality of services provided.
