Online, February 18, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Two decades ago in Los Angeles, California, a powerful concept that sprung the vision which took shape and form of a comic strip was born. This now Chrisyian comic book craze is called - Faith Walker™.

Now, a leader in the faith based comics book genre, Faith Walker is celebrating two decades in the industry. Featuring characters of color from Artistic Reign Creations and Minister, Clint D. Johnson artist/writer/ designer and creator of The Footsteps of Matthew Cross: Faith Walker, Faith Walker stands tall as one of the well-loved black superheroes online.
In commemoration of its 20th year, the 2010 roster of events plans to yield a number of Faith Walker projects including graphic novels, digital presentations, live appearances and more.

Faith merges with creativity as The Footsteps of Matthew Cross: Faith Walker™ follows the journey of a street smart minister who becomes an agent against the forces of darkness. "The Hero that gives God the Glory" was created to inspire and encourage by spreading the word of God in a fresh way.
The official kick off begins in Black History Month, with a free publication called "Victorious" featuring history notes and short stories of inspiration and hope, crafted by Johnson, and the talented Tim Gagnon providing pencils and color to the storyboard.
The ball keeps rolling with the target release of "Champion" featuring two brand new stories. The Art of Warfare graphic novel and the long awaited origin revamp called Saints and Serpents are also slated for The Year of the Walker.
The year 2010 even rumors Faith Walker Cross-overs. Minister Clint, who serves at New Covenant Tabernacle in California, exclaims in excitement that God has allowed him to build and develop the illustrated ministry for two decades. He believes that his faithfulness and unwillingness to allow a dream to die is a credit to his faith and that God does give the desires of the heart.
