Writer/Producer/Director Josh Becker Presents 'Morning Noon and Night' at the Landmark Main Art Theater in Royal Oak
Veteran writer/producer/director Josh Becker hosts a cast & crew screening of "'Morning, Noon and Night."
BLOOMFIELD, Mich., May 29, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Josh Becker, Founder of Becker Films presents "Morning, Noon and Night." Starring John Manfredi and Frank Ondorf and co-starring Carly Schneider and Alanna Foley. This intense slice-of-life film will be shown at the Landmark Main Art Theater (118 North Main St., Royal Oak, MI) on Monday, June 4 at 7:30 P.M.
"Morning, Noon and Night" was written, directed and produced by native Detroiter Josh Becker. Filmed in the Metro Detroit area, the production utilized local Detroit talent including director of photography, Daniel S. Noga and music composer, Joseph LoDuca.
As the writer, producer, and director, this film gave me the opportunity to explore themes and characters in a unique and unrestricted way. I was free to express my own understanding of addiction and its compulsions. Everyone is hooked on something.
Josh Becker, Founder Becker Films
Becker who grew up in Detroit with the likes of Sam Rami and Bruce Campbell is no stranger to feature films. Josh Becker has written and directed five independent feature films: "Thou Shall Not Kill… Except"; "Lunatics: A Love Story"; "Running Time"; "If I Had a Hammer"; and most recently, "Morning Noon and Night."
Becker’s most recent film, "Morning, Noon & Night", explores a day-in-the-life of six people battling different addictions. The characters feel all too familiar as they could be your neighbor, your family or even yourself. The film functions as a mirror as it examines three college students, a history teacher, a lawyer, and a top executive as they struggle to make it through a single day.
“As the writer, producer, and director,” states Becker, “this film gave me the opportunity to explore themes and characters in a unique and unrestricted way. I was free to express my own understanding of addiction and its compulsions. Everyone is hooked on something. Whether it’s food, nicotine, chocolate, gambling, sugar, alcohol, anger, caffeine, benzos or opiates, everybody struggles with something. The real question asked is how does anyone get through life? After all, reality is just a crutch for people who can’t handle drugs.”
This event is open to the public. Many of the cast and crew members are from the Detroit area and will be available for a meet and greet with attendees.
Media passes are available.
