Writer of New U.S. Constitution, Valentine Becomes Fourth Democratic Candidate - Claims to Have the Grand Bargain
Miami, FL, November 13, 2015 (Newswire.com) - The writer of a new US Constitution, Valentine, has filed with the FEC, is on the ballot for the Arkansas and New Hampshire primaries, and is filing in other states next week. The political philosopher and philanthropist has taken much of his life to write an entirely new constitution consisting of 9 articles in 27 pages, leaving 90% of our current Constitution and Amendments intact. His single bank and single tax provision simplifies the tax code and eliminates both property and income tax.
Touted as the Grand Bargain for Democrats on the left, Republicans on the right and the disenchanted electorate in the middle, all sides give as well as take in the deal. Commenting on the deal, Valentine says: "I wrote it and even I would prefer not to have several of its provisions; but in politics, we all have to compromise or end up with the grid lock we have now that solves no problems. It's a deal where no one's going to get everything they want." Valentine claims to have simply added the changes large majorities of voters have been clamoring for, and eliminated all government overlap to achieve fairness and efficiency.
www.TheValentineConstitution.com lists the entire text of his constitution, along with video explanations filmed in Nashville in front of the life-sized replica of the Greek Parthenon, the birthplace of democracy.
Washington DC is Valentine's home town, having grown up in its Virginia suburbs until 9 and then on a farm 40 miles west near the Shenandoah River and the Blue Ridge Mountains. He skipped 11th grade in high school then attended the University of Virginia, founded by Thomas Jefferson, author of Our Declaration of Independence, from which some of Valentine's preamble is copied. He studied political philosophy and constitutional and other law at UVA, and at age 20, simultaneously ran the precinct operations for both the Frank Wolf for US Congress and John Warner for US Senate campaigns, both of whom are Republicans.
Valentine explains: "It's the environmental issues that have made me a Democrat. We're running out of water, and we're killing our crop pollinators, without which we will have no food. For me, it's all about priorities and solutions."
Also a talented musician, Valentine wrote, sang and produced a political songbook in Nashville with accompanying music videos likewise produced by him; some humorous in nature. Valentine has also written over 50 screenplays and directed, produced and starred in three motion pictures. He is also a fashion designer, poet, and lyricist.
