WPP Arranges Expedited Delivery Of Kato Generator End To Leading Oilfield Services Firm

Online, August 22, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Worldwide Power Products (WPP), a power-generation equipment provider to industrial clients worldwide, today announced it recently procured-and delivered on a rush basis-a 600V Kato 6P6-3300 generator end for Ensign International Energy Services Pty Ltd (EIES), a proprietary limited company owned by Alberta, Canada-based Ensign Entergy Services (EES). EIES approached WPP after failure of the alternator in a power-supply generator threatened operations at Rig 941, located in Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

"Obtaining that Kato alternator and bearings was a big save for us...WPP has been our 'diamond in the rough.'" WPP was able to deliver the equipment the next day for exportation. As a result of the project's success, WPP is entering into discussions with EIES regarding future sales opportunities.
