With New Chefs Come New Dishes at Park Hyatt Saigon

Dining in Ho Chi Minh City just got better as Park Hyatt Saigon announces new dishes in its signature restaurant, Square One, and offering new desserts at this luxury hotel in Vietnam.

SQUARE ONE UNVEILS NEW DISHES

The arrival of Soren Lascelles marks the beginning of a whole new culinary journey at Park Hyatt Saigon's signature restaurant, Square One. Maintaining the identity and integrity as a Vietnamese Seafood and Western Grill restaurant, Soren incorporates his own flair with new dishes on the menu, alongside Square One's signature items.

New Western starters on the menu include Foie Gras Terrine with Spiced Pear Chutney, Almond, and Brioche; and Warm Goats Cheese Salad with Baby Beets, Pine Nut Praline and Basil, while Vietnamese starters offer a Green Papaya Salad with Chicken, Chilli and Mint; and "Banh Khot" Crispy Mini Pancakes.

The selection of new Western main dishes features delights such as Bone-In Cowboy Rib Eye; Crispy Skinned Confit Pork Belly with Caramelised Onion and Pea Jus; and Vietnamese mains include Live Black Garoupa with Seafood Sauce, and Green Peppercorn; and Live Sea Bass with Spring Onion, Oyster Sauce, Ginger and Chilli.

Making every meal a special occasion, Square One's new items bring culinary culture to life with beautifully prepared dishes to tantalise the taste buds of foreign and local guests alike.


NEW SWEET TREATS ON OFFER

Bertrand Sommereux presents new decadent desserts in Square One and Opera, and incorporates additional cakes for take away on the Pastry Boutique menu. Baked to perfection, Bertrand's aromatic artisanal creations embody traditional elements with a delightful twist.

New desserts in Opera include Apple Tarte with Rum Raisin Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce; Summer Fruit Ravioli with Limoncello Sorbet; and Sicilian Cannoli with Ricotta Cheese and Candied Fruit. New creations available in Square One include a Lemongrass Crème Brûlee with Black Sesame Tuille; and a Frozen Nougat Parfait with Honey and Raspberry Sherbet.

For those who wish to take with them something sweet to be enjoyed at home or shared for a special occasion, new take away cake options include a Strawberry Fraisier; Chocolate Crème Brûlee Tea Cake; or Walnut Paris Brest.
