Willoughby Winter Market - Bushwick

Point A presents an innovative market in the heart of Bushwick with a month long residency at the open-air lot at 52 Wycoff Avenue. Just one block from Knickerbocker shops, Maria Hernandez Park and footsteps from the Jefferson Street L, this locale offers an exciting opportunity for merchants, artists and performers alike to reach untapped markets in one of Brooklyn's most rapidly growing neighborhoods.

One of the biggest draws in these seasonal events is the Christmas Tree market. Point A has been in this particular business for well over a decade - operating as Mistletoes in Williamsburg, Bushwick and various hotspots throughout the borough. The presence of the trees alone has a tendency to draw a crowd as the holidays approach. But that's just the beginning.

Beyond creating a profitable environment, The goal is in making a community impact - something special that people will talk about and organically form into a focal point of the neighborhood. With live acts, painting sessions, caroling, crafts for kids and other holiday workshops - there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Where Culture meets Commerce! Willoughby Winter Market is aiming for a certain aesthetic and level of quality to not only match previous efforts, but make the market and corresponding events feel as cohesive and tight as possible.

Juan Santos, Founder

In the midst of this cultural display and community engagement,  The Idea is to install up to 5 booths, forming a pop-up market. Think of it as the focal point within the focal point, not unlike a bullseye. Given the demographics of the neighborhood, proximity to transit, residents and shopping there will be a lot of people passing through that circle.
