WhereverTV Commends Greek Prosecutors and the AAPA for the Pursuit and Prosecution of Pirates Offers Alternative Method to Protect From Potential Losses Inc

Pirates Prosecuted for Stealing Television Broadcasters Content and Illegally Reselling for Profit. Legal and Licensed Alternative Offered.

WhereverTV Broadcasting Corp. (OTC Pink: TVTV), announced today its advocacy in the pursuit and prosecution of TV signal pirates. Mark Cavicchia, the CEO of WhereverTV stated, "While we have seen an explosion in the number of Internet TV providers over the last several months, the problem is that many of these new providers are offering un-licensed, or illegally rebroadcasted content for sale or resale, an illegal practice in most countries. We believe pirates who rebroadcast signals, and licensed content illegitimately, should be prosecuted accordingly. We commend Greece and the appropriate agencies and prosecutors for taking swift and appropriate action."

To date, prosecutors in Greece have issued 17 sentences for the piracy of pay-TV signals. The AAPA (Audiovisual Anti-Piracy Alliance in Greece), the police electronic crime prosecution departments of Greece and Cyprus, and the Greek courts are working together to send a very clear message regarding technical piracy and the illegal selling of the pay-TV signals. Pirates and consumers both have significant potential risks. Pirates are being fined and jailed. And consumers have lost fees paid to pirates, and, just as importantly, access to subscribed television services when the pirated networks have been shut down.

Mr. Cavicchia went on to say, "With approximately 1.3 million Greeks living in the US, and approximately 2.1 million more living in various other countries throughout the world, many of these people want a legitimate and compliant service to receive access to news and media from their homeland, about their friends, family, government and economy back in Greece. They want this access without risk of financial loss or interruption. This may be especially true during the current shutdown of many Greek owned broadcast TV stations due to economic crisis that has left many without access to information about their beloved homeland. We want people to know WhereverTV's legally licensed subscription services remain active and available."
