WhatHouse.co.uk Relaunches Digital Magazine with Celebrity Help
Online, August 5, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The largest UK property portal, WhatHouse.co.uk launched its original digital magazine a year ago. Now the 90 page online magazine has been re-vamped and is being re launched with the help of two guest celebrity columnists; Amanda Lamb of "Place in the Sun" fame and George Clarke of the "Great British Property Scandal".
The digital version of the magazine has now been trimmed down from 90 pages to just 28 so it is more compact but gives access to just as much, if not more, information and there is more opportunity for reader interactivity. It is hoped that the more compact version will be easier to navigate. Readers will be able to jump directly to an article of interest from the contents page but all the news and articles will now be grouped into categories on single pages. All interviews will be on one page and the reader can simply scroll through the titles and click on the specific interview they wish to read and be taken directly to that online interview in a new browser window.
The first edition of the re launched magazine went live on Monday 22nd July and included columns from the two new star writers. Amanda Lamb began her TV career as a model for Scottish Widows but progressed to the popular presenter of property program, A Place in the Sun and has gone on to present many other TV shows. She has become a respected voice in the property industry and has a background as an estate agent and is passionate about the property market.
George Clarke may not be as much of a household name but in the last 8 years he has made several TV appearances. He is an architect by training, owning his own practice. However, he has a fantastic insight into the property business and problems plaguing the industry. He was one of the experts on the British Property Scandal TV show and from there went on to be a government advisor on empty homes.
Both Stars have a good reputation in the property industry and after both were interviewed for the WhatHouse Magazine the editor of the digital magazine decided she wanted to hear more from them than could be given in a single interview and thought their knowledge would bring great interest to the readers and so both were signed up as columnists.
The What House magazine is produced monthly and published online. It looks at various key stories in the UK property market and issues affecting the new build homes industry as well as articles on interior design, special features and video content.
