Wharton Alumni Angels Announces New COO and CFO, Anticipating Significant Growth Over Next Two Years
FORT WASHINGTON, Pa., July 26, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Wharton Alumni Angels today announced Ellen Chang as Chief Operating Officer for Wharton Alumni Angels, effective Aug. 1, 2022. Ms. Chang has served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Wharton Alumni Angels since May 2019. She was also a founding member of the Wharton Alumni Network in Southern California. Ms. Chang is a seasoned strategy and operating executive who loves figuring out challenging new markets. Throughout her career, she has been essential in guiding cross-functional collaborative undertakings.
Irene Zhang will assume the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer role for Wharton Alumni Angels on Aug. 1, 2022, replacing Ellen Chang in those roles. Ms. Zhang has supported Wharton Alumni Angels in financial audits and tax preparation oversight for the past two years. She is an accomplished tax executive and trusted advisor to the C-suite with experience in leading global tax functions and designing strategies. Ms. Zhang currently serves as the worldwide head of tax of a prestigious publicly traded investment bank in NYC.
