Wendover-InsightPRM Releases National Business Growth Survey Report
Philadelphia, PA, December 7, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Today the Wendover Corporation released their Q3 2016 Wendover-InsightPRM Business Growth Report based on 2.6 million business expansion surveys conducted across 55 major US metro areas each year. Kansas City received the highest Business Growth Index score, increasing 23.8% from 2015 compared to an average national increase of 10%.

The Wendover-InsightPRM Business Growth Index is the more far-reaching and powerful successor to the Wendover-Global Insight IT Spending Index prominent during the dot-com boom. The Wendover-InsightPRM Business Growth Index scores individual companies based on ten years of historical business expansion surveys. The average of all companies in a region is used to compare relative business growth across the country. Phoenix, New York City, San Jose, and Dallas ranked 2nd-5th on the index this quarter.
The Wendover-InsightPRM Business Growth Report also compares growth activity by industry sector using the Industry Activity Index. The US Manufacturing sector increased activity by 20% as of Q3 2016 compared to 2015, with Transportation and Business Services sector activity also increasing significantly. Retail trade activity fell by 26%, with Public Administration and Communications sectors also falling.
