DPOH ENTERTAINMENT WELCOMES AUTHOR, SPEAKER AND ENTREPRENEUR GLENYS COLCLOUGH TO NYC WITH A SPECIAL PERFORMANCE OF THE PLAY LOVE'S GONNA GET YA! AND DISICUSSION
New York, NY - July 15, 2010 - - DPOH Entertainment aka Diversity Players of Harlem welcomes author, speaker and entrepreneur Glenys Colclough to NYC with a special performance of the stage play Love's Gonna Get Ya! by James and Michele Woodson, with Music by Germono Toussaint and Directed by Dwight Ali Williams. A night of play and discussion at the Roy Arias Theaters August 1, 2010 at 6pm. Refreshment will be served.
Love's Gonna Get Ya! is based on the true story of eight singles and their passionate search for true love. So focused on pursuing his career goal, Nate is too busy to stop and smell the roses. Heart broken from past relationships, Jasmine comes to realize that her search for true love will only happen when she learns to let go. With their timely meeting and subsequent love story as the backdrop, the crux of the play lies in the trials and tribulations of their six friends, each of whom have their own difficulties with relationships and love.
Glenys Colclough initially had aspirations of becoming a fashion buyer, however, it wasn't until her entrepreneurial spirit kicked in that she set out to form Soul of a Woman Enterprises; home to Evolve Publishing, Peachfields Productions and Inspire Clothing and Jewelry. Glenys' mission is to inspire and empower individuals to create the life they desire through print, film and life empowerment.
In 2008 Glenys self-published her first book, The Spiritual Diva: Ten Principles for Becoming Faithful Fierce and Fabulous which fueled her passion to inspire by creating and publishing the monthly ezine Inspired & Empowered. Transforming from what was a newsletter to an ezine in just one month's time; Glenys continues to receive encouraging emails from readers about each issue's release. Realizing God placed something within her to bring forth; Glenys is currently preparing to take Inspired & Empowered now Prominence Magazine to print in 2010 as well as promote her sophomore title, Living Fabulous; Practical Principles for the Woman on the Go.
