Wearever Announces 'Caregivers' 2017 Scholarship Winner

Incontinence Underwear and Products Supplier Awards $1,000 to University of Arizona Student

Wearever, an incontinence undergarment and health and wellness apparel company, congratulates Christopher Mercado on winning the Wearever ‘Caregivers’ 2017 Scholarship. Mercado is currently attending the University of Arizona, and received the $1,000 scholarship from Wearever to help with future studies.

Wearever is committed to providing ambitious students the opportunity to focus on his or her studies and reduce worry about the cost of books and tuition. The Wearever ‘Caregivers’ Scholarship was open to graduating high school seniors and any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at any accredited U.S. college, university or institute.

Each applicant was required to submit an essay describing his or her experience with caring for a relative or friend with limitations, disabilities or hospitalization. Applicants were also encouraged to give advice for caregivers going through similar situations.

“At Wearever, we believe in the power of education, and we’re thrilled to support students through this scholarship,” said Bob Deerin, founder and CEO of Wearever. “We believe scholarships have the ability to motivate ambitious students to pursue their dreams while worrying less about tuition and other school-related expenses.”
