Wayans Girl Productions Develops New Teen Entertainment Television Show

Sister of Damon & Keenan Wayans partners with LA-based production company to develop a Hollywood Teen Entertainment News Show.

Diedra Wayans, third oldest sibling of the talented Wayans Family, recently completed a Teen Entertainment News television pilot for her company, Wayans Girl Productions. In partnership with an LA-based production company, the show was created and designed to provide an entertainment news platform for the untapped teen market. The pilot episode was taped in Los Angeles, CA at Hollywood Center Studios.

Wayans, who has interned with her family on several film and television projects, utilized the experience she gained as a platform in building her own company. "The experience of working as a consultant with Ivory Way Productions was invaluable, and now I look forward to stepping into my own spotlight and shining it on others", says Wayans.

"The sound stages at Hollywood Center Studios are deep in history since their construction in 1919 and was an excellent choice for the filming of this pilot", says director Sanedria Potter. The first two seasons of the classic "I Love Lucy" was filmed there in 1951-1953. More recently, The Hannah Montana show shot their pilot episode there, and "Corey in the House" and "Wizards of Waverly Place" also called Hollywood Center Studios home.

Wayans Girl Productions has several other projects currently in development.
