Governmental executive committee of Voznesensk (Ukraine) launched a construction project of biogas plant (capacity 3120 m3 of biogas per day) within city borders. Corn silo, energy plants and biomass will be used for production of biogas on a newly built plant.

Along with the biogas plant project the committee has opened a cogeneration plant, producing electricity and thermal power. The plant uses 130 m3 of natural gas for production of 400 kW of electrical and 540 kW of thermal power. As planned, bio-methane received at biogas plant will be used to power the cogeneration unit.

In 2009 "Zorg Biogas Ukraine" launched a construction of biogas plant (capacity 2000 m3 of biogas per day) in Nikolaivsky region (Ukraine) for "Zeleny Hai" company, manufacturer of high-quality cognac "Greenwich". The plant will produce 125 kW/hour of electricity, while thermal power will be used for maintenance of company's greenhouses.
