VotedBestMom.com announces Mother of the Year: Jessica D'Alessio

The VotedBestMom.com panel has announced their Mother of the Year Award and the honor goes to Bangor, Maine's Jessica D'Alessio.

The Mother of the Year Award is decided by a select, undisclosed, panel of judges which choose its candidates from a host of entries typically from husbands and children. This year's award and recognition has been bestowed upon Jessie D'Alessio for a bevy of reasons.

While the full 9 categories involved in deciding the Earth's Mother of the Year are privy only to the panel of judges, Jessica embodies selflessness, creativity, compassion and focus on family first.

Jessica's efforts and results as a supermom have paid dividends with her kids and husband. Jess is a true his, mine and ours mom who encapsulates and combines all the prominence of a 1950, Leave it to Beaver, mom with being a modern woman. She can just as easily dig a stuck Jeep out of the mud as hand-stitch a quilt.

Jessie edged out other candidates for this award because her tireless efforts to better the family have proven tangible results. She lets no kid go without the extra love and attention needed in this fast-paced world to learn and grow while still being able to explore safely their environment. "Kids need to scrape their knees once in a while to know their limits", says Jess. "They don't have to fall from a skyscraper to crack their head open though".

Mrs. D'Alessio embodies a reasonable life experience model when it comes to raising the kids. The children know definitively that they are loved and safe; however, they don't live in a protective bubble where they can't experience and develop their own skills and interests.
