Vladimir Kush Presents His Latest Artwork 'Music of the Woods' Bronze Sculpture
LAS VEGAS, June 1, 2020 (Newswire.com) - After the immense success of the sold-out painting, Vladimir Kush presents his New Release: "Music of the Woods" Bronze Sculpture (Limited Edition of 100, Size 15"x 17" x 24") (Base 15" x 15"). Transcending beyond the canvas, "Music of the Woods" is now a 3D Bronze Sculpture, allowing us to hear the music and sounds of nature while the stamens inside the amaryllis flower vibrate like musical notes. It's undeniable to say that sound frequencies are used to move matter and transform the elements within their own manifestation, and that intention behind it is as important as the sound in itself, since the intention is also a vibration.
The imperceptible transition of shapes and symbols from a painting to poetry and music can all be found in this sculpture. This is the stage when you need to grasp the imperceptible and make sense of the elusive reality, which the artist accomplishes by setting up a trap of visual metaphor or analogy.
Colorful reflections - from carmine red to blue - coalesce through thin transitions into one wonderful theme of a forest symphony. In this sculpture, flowers, birds, and the forest make contact with nature on a mood-sense level. Music of the Woods Bronze Sculpture is objectively close to a "retro style" phonograph, which was invented by Thomas Edison over a century ago.
Kush explains: “The sculptures allow me to add one more dimension to the existing ideas when it comes to the form. It is proven now that metaphors can exist not only in the form of words but also 2-dimensional paintings and 3-dimensional sculptures and jewelry. My job is to re-construct the myth in accordance with the 'curvature of my fantasy spine', using the language of metaphor. Speaking metaphorically, I break a myth with the hammer of irony and reassemble it again in my own laboratory, but in accordance with the creator’s draft. To reflect the world in the mirror of the metaphor ... this is my goal.”
