Vision Films Unveils a New Film Slate and Private Screening of 'Adverse,' Starring Academy Award Nominees Mickey Rourke and Sean Astin, at the Cannes Film Festival
CANNES, France, May 14, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Vision Films Inc. (“Vision") announced on Friday its feature film slate and a private, sneak-peak buyers screening for the new action/crime film Adverse, starring Academy Awards Nominees Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler) and Sean Astin (The Lord of the Ring Trilogy), Golden Globe Nominee Penelope Ann Miller (The Artist), Academy Awards Nominee Golden Globe Nominee Lou Diamond Phillips (Courage Under Fire), Andrew Keegan (10 Things I Hate About You), Charlene Amoia (Birds of Prey), Thomas Ian Nicholas (American Pie), Matt Ryan (DC Legends of Tomorrow), Aaron Schwartz (Gossip Girl), Jake T. Austin (Wizards of Waverly Place).
Director Brian A. Metcalf, Ben Chan, Danielle Yen, Kelly Arjen of Adverse will be in attendance for the private buyer screening at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, May 14-25.
Other Vision feature films debuting at the Cannes festival include the science fiction thriller Xenophobia, the faith drama A Murder of Innocence, which is based on the true-life events of a small town murder, and the science fiction crime feature Eternal Code.
