For 80 dollars, you can have a 4G LTE phone that has a great display, powerful processor and solid design. Starting with the design, the Lucid measures 4.69 by 2.45 by 0.45 inches. The body of the phone is glossy black and has angular cuts on the corners, giving it a slightly different look from the cookie cutter phone designs. It's smaller than the superphones, so if you have normal sized hands, you'll be able to hold and use this in one hand. It also fits great in your pocket. The back has a black and purple diagonally striped design that has a glisten to it in the light. The display is 4 inches with 480x800 pixel resolution and has a Gorilla Glass scratch resistant covering. This display alone is worth more than the phone costs. The dual core 1.2 GHz processor is very quick and the phone is smooth when opening apps and you're typing messages. The Lucid is running on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread instead of Ice Cream Sandwich, however, it is upgradable and should receive an upgrade sometime this year. It also has Optimus UI running on top, making customization and organization easy and painless. The Lucid has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, DLNA, and GPS. The 5 megapixel camera takes pictures with realistic colors and crisp details. The camera has 1080p HD video capture that has a ton of options, including one where you don't have to include the audio. The 1700mAh battery can handle going a full day of normal usage without a charge.
