Verdani Clients Receive Impressive Results in 2023 GRESB Real Estate Assessment
Verdani’s clients average a 5% increase in their GRESB scores year over year, with several clients achieving 5 and 4 Star Ratings
CARLSBAD, Calif., November 21, 2023 (Newswire.com) - Verdani Partners, a leading ESG consultant in the built environment, guided clients towards improved performance on the GRESB Real Estate Assessment. GRESB is the leading ESG benchmark for real estate and infrastructure investments globally.
In 2023, Verdani submitted 62 assessments for 17 of its clients – resulting in seven 5 Star Ratings and fourteen 4 Star Ratings. One of Verdani’s largest clients had seven submissions that placed 1st in their Peer Group and 25 submissions in the Top 3 in their Peer Group. Each year GRESB receives more submissions, thus making the landscape increasingly competitive, and Verdani clients continue to deliver strong performances.
Included in the GRESB Assessment is the year over year Ranking Percentile Change, where several Verdani clients saw big jumps. Notably, compared to 2022, one of Verdani’s largest diversified clients saw a 61% score increase for one of its funds, while two other clients increased by 50% and 33%, respectively. Others were able to maintain high rankings, including one of Verdani’s leading multifamily portfolios, which maintained a 90th percentile ranking in 2022 and 2023 for its Standing Investments. On average, clients have seen a 5% increase in their GRESB scores each year since working with Verdani.
