Venue Directory for Salisbury
Finding the right venue in your city can be a challenge. One business woman has addresses this issue in her own city of Salisbury by launching an online directory of local venues.
Online, June 14, 2010 (Newswire.com) - When the wedding of her son in 2009 took numerous phone calls to find suitable venues, Jen Carter realised that there was no comprehensive directory of local venues for the city of Salisbury and surrounding villages.
Hence in May 2010, the website http://www.salisburyvenues.co.uk was launched, initially listing 50 venues in and around the city that are suitable for functions, receptions & banquets.
Jen Carter, website owner & internet business woman, says, "It seemed that 'word of mouth' was one of the best ways to discover what venues were available in the city. We decided to combine these 'word of mouth' with user reviews of venues, together with a detailed listing of capacity and facilities. I hope that this will make the task of finding the right venues easiers for other individuals and organisations struggling with the same challenge".
The site includes venues of every size, from small rooms seating 30-50 to reception venues for 50-400. Brides and event organisers can check out the facilities available for each venues, as well as locating the premier banqueting facilities in and around the city.
With details of further venues soon to be added, the site will shortly offer over 80 venues to host events in and around the historic cathedral city of Salisbury.
