Vast Sales Increase Reported By Rosetta Brands During Valentine's Period

Rosetta Brands, a Bilsborrow-based seller of novelty gifts, foods and accessories, have reported a substantial sales increase during the Valentine's period.

The Valentine's period is an important seasonal event for retailers across the country, with no further themed events occurring until Easter, a further month and a half away. Sizeable parts of the population either desire, or are pressured into, buying products to show affection for their partners. Usually, this transpires in retailers stocking products with a specifically romantic tangent, from cards, chocolates, flowers and toys all playing up the theme of love. Yet Rosetta Brands, a retailer of novelty foodstuffs, gifts and accessories, have reported noticeably expanded trade during the two weeks approaching Valentine's Day.

A customer service representative had the time to talk on behalf of the company, discussing the importance of the Valentine's period. "At Rosetta Brands we don't stock many traditionally romantic products, and don't alter stock considerably for smaller seasonal events like Valentine's day. Yet we experience vast sales increases nonetheless. Most likely, it's because although we don't stock goods with a clear Valentine's theme, goods are provided which fit the archetypes of a Valentine's gift, food, clothing, decorations and experiences, for instance. People often forget that there are many couples out there without an interest in the conventional fare of Valentine's gifts. Something unique and amusing serves them far better."

Among the products enjoying increase popularity were foodstuffs and 'experiences'. Cornwall selection hampers feature a mixture of cheeses, wines, jams and local food stuffs, provided in hamper basket. Picnics are one of the more popular ideas for a peaceful date, so their success during the period is well founded. Experiences, for instance the 60 minute light aircraft trial lesson, saw a similar boom in sales. In the effort to provide one another with memorable and unique gifts, a one-off experience is often effective.

In addition to these specific surges, Rosetta Brands reported a generally increased level of sales across the board. Masks and headwear saw substantial growth, likely due to the present base of couples seeking amusing or useful gifts, rather than a 'romantic' product with only brief interest.

Rosetta Brands are a cheap online retailer of novelty gifts, foods, funny hats and accessories, supplying consumers across the United Kingdom. With the sizable profits experienced over the seasonal Valentine's period they intend to expand their stock for 2013 even further, and extend even more variety to customers.
