Vacation Bible School Scheduled For Fort Pierce Children

A Vacation Bible School will be put on by youth volunteers from Bethel Methodist Church for the youngsters of Fort Pierce, at Northwood Christian Fellowship

Local children are invited to participate in a Vacation Bible School at the Northside Christian Fellowship Church, at 3100 Saint Lucie Blvd in Ft. Pierce, Mon-Thurs, July 23-26, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

The Vacation Bible School will be put on and run by the youth missions group of Bethel Methodist Church in North Carolina with its more than 60 volunteers, who are doing missions work in St. Lucie and Indian River counties. The group is headquartered and sent forth by Epic Missions, Inc. in Vero Beach.

The VBS theme is entitled "SONrise National Park" and will help kids understand and feel God's love and kindness through music, games, crafts and other activities. The event is free of charge.

A cookout will be held for children and their families at 4 p.m. Thursday, the closing day of the Vacation Bible School.

Epic Missions, Inc. is headquartered in Vero Beach, at 6025 12th Street.

The Christian missions ministry was founded in 2011, by its president, Paul Munsie, and his wife and the organization's vice president, Jackie Munsie. Epic Missions recently received its 501(c)(3) status for tax exempt status from the United States Internal Revenue Service. There are two separate dormitory wings, on either end of the building -- one for men and one for women.
