UPW Micro 2011 Offers Presentations on Key Semiconductor Water Topics
Online, September 11, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Individuals active in semiconductor water treatment, or interested in learning more about this important segment should attend this fall's ULTRAPURE WATER Micro 2011. Registration is now open for the conference that is planned for Nov. 2-3 at the Red Lion Hotel on Jantzen Beach in Portland, Ore. The meeting will feature technical papers on important semiconductor water treatment topics, and an update on ITRS standards.
This year's conference will be divided into 4 sections, each half-day long. Sections will focus on these categories: Emerging Needs for Semiconductors and PVs, Technology Development/Innovation, Water Management, and Metrology. Here are examples of presentations: Processing RO Reject, Operational Data and Trend Review, Organics Speciation in Ultrapure Water, Trace Urea Removal Technology, Advances in Resistivity Measurement, Effects of Steam and Ozone Sterilization on PVDF, Monitoring Immersion Photolithography Process Control, and ITRS Update.
The opening session will include a presentation on business aspects of the water and microelectronics industries that will be followed by technical papers on key issues related to semiconductor-grade high-purity water treatment. ULTRAPURE WATER Micro has been an annual conference since 1998 that has addressed timely water treatment topics relevant to the microelectronics industries.
UPW Micro 2011 will also feature tabletop exhibits, and offer attendees the chance to meet and network with others active in semiconductor water treatment.
Information about the conference is available at the ULTRAPURE WATER journal home page (www.ultrapurewater.com). Information about tabletop exhibits is available from Frank Slejko at 303/973-6700 or at info@ultrapurewater.com. On-line registration is available at http://www.ultrapurewater.com/ZENCART/.
ULTRAPURE WATER journal is a monthly on-line journal that covers the business and technology of water treatment. The journal also offers technical books on different water treatment subjects through its on-line bookstore and conducts conferences. In March, the firm will conduct the WATER EXECUTIVE Forum co-located at the WQA-Aquatech conference in Las Vegas March 7. Plans are also underway for a co-located conference at the 2012 Singapore International Water Week in July, and the 2012 UPW Micro conference. More information about the journal, conferences, or the on-line bookstore is available at http://www.ultrapurewater.com.
