Unearth More Space for the Desired Items

Pallet Racks are used for storing multiple storage items on the pallet and it is one of the efficient racking systems.

Pallet Racks

Pallet racking is designed to store materials on pallets or skids. Forklift trucks are an integral part of the pallet racking system as they are required to lift the loaded pallets and place them on the racks for storage.

The most common pallet racking in use today is the selective pallet racking which comes with two configurations: the roll form and the structural form. The common components of selective rack include load beams also called box beams or step beams, upright frames, diagonal and horizontal braces, wire decking, row spacers, wall ties, column protectors and guard rails.

There are many types of pallet storage racks which are available with various designs to meet specific functions; some of them are

1. Drive-in and Drive-through
2. Push-back pallet rack
3. Pallet flow
4. Compact mobilized pallet racks

Mobilized pallet racking system has helped many establishments reduce the cost of construction and expansion and decrease the on-going working costs by maximizing the use of their storage floor space.
Due to their ability to hold extremely heavy and wider items, Pallet racks are being extensively used in factories and warehouses for storage. Pallet racks vary in size, but most of them are 20 feet high and 10 feet wide. They come with a number of uprights and beams.

Cantilever racks

Cantilever racks are designed to store odd shaped materials. Items like piping, lumber, plywood, Masonite sheets, marble, dry wall, aluminium sheets, metal crates granite etc. can be stored on cantilever racks.

Mezzanine flooring

Mezzanine Flooring is a semi-permanent structure erected on a raised platform between two existing floors. It is a standalone feature and does not affect the original construction. With mezzanine flooring, it can double or treble the warehouse capacity at a very cost effective way. An additional advantage of mezzanine flooring is that when they resale the space, they get extra value of property for these floors.
