Ubercool Innovation® Launches #YouCallThatInnovation Campaign Designed to Encourage More Innovation
"Innovation Crusade" recruits forward thinkers to rally against the status quo.
LAS VEGAS, May 8, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Across the globe there has been an extraordinary level of interest in innovation since the last decade. Yet despite a plethora of case studies, conferences, workshops, books and articles, commitment to innovation, in any shape or form, remains tepidly low. A Forrester Research study found that just 11% of marketers budget for innovation. That means that 89% are not entirely convinced of the value of creating a breakthrough communication strategy in a market inundated with marketing messages.
"And these are marketers, who, as a group, tend to be ahead of the curve," notes Ubercool Innovation Trend Forecaster Michael Tchong. "One recurring question I frequently hear after my talks is, 'how do I convince management of the value of innovation?'" This common scenario led Tchong to develop an initiative that seeks to address a major societal challenge: "How do you encourage more innovation?" One creative strategy involves a social media campaign that uses the hashtag #youcallthatinnovation to irreverently motivate the 89% of business and government officials who do not actively practice innovation.
We all know that just about everything has to be reinvented: education, finance, healthcare, government, infrastructure, transportation, even our social media.

To help send its irreverent message, Ubercool Innovation is launching a line of "You call that innovation?" merchandise. First up is a t-shirt, dubbed "Chuckle," jointly created with Golden Goods USA (goldengoodsusa.com). Golden Goods USA Founder Jeffrey Levine says, "Innovation is the hallmark of our philosophy and culture at our company and we are honored to be selected to be the apparel vendor of choice for such an important movement of which are completely aligned with."
"We all know that just about everything has to be reinvented: education, finance, healthcare, government, infrastructure, transportation, even our social media," observes Tchong. "Our 'Chuckle' emoji merchandise features a clever meme that will resonate with social media users frustrated by the status quo." The Chuckle meme t-shirt can be purchased at ubercool.com. To recruit the forces of change, including social media influencers and other change agents, for its innovation crusade, Ubercool Innovation is hosting a series of unique #PizzaChampagne events across America.
