Triple Threat Marketing Takes on Team Training

In a continuing effort to deliver the best interactive marketing results in the industry, the managers at Triple Threat Marketing have launched a company-wide training strategy that incorporates the skills the team needs for success.

“We’re gearing up to have one of our best years ever,” said Trey, Triple Threat Marketing’s director of operations. “In order to accomplish our goals, we need our entire team on board. Interactive marketing is a collaborative effort, one that requires a number of skills in order to be fruitful.”

Trey noted that the company’s managers have chosen to focus on training related to enhancing the interactive marketing and sales techniques the associates will use most heavily. “We’ll be working on customer service approaches and communication strategies that will help our associates connect with the unique consumer bases for each of the brands we represent,” he said.

In addition to industry-related topics, Trey noted that some of the training will also reflect skills that all associates can use in and out of the office. “There will be training sessions focused on how to be more productive by improving organizational and time-management skills,” he noted. “Efficient operations are what we strive to attain.”

Triple Threat Marketings Managers Discuss Leadership Components of Training

One of the key training objectives that Trey acknowledged was leadership identification. “When we hold training sessions, we observe which associates seem to demonstrate qualities that are synonymous with leadership,” he explained. “Especially with team-based exercises, you can see who starts to emerge as the groups’ front-runners. This signals to us who we need to start preparing for larger roles.”

Trey noted that some of the training is also led by different Triple Threat Marketing associates, depending on their aptitude for the topics. “If someone excels with fostering customer relationships, we’ll have them present on their techniques,” he said.

“Throughout the course of this year, we plan to hold monthly training sessions,” noted Trey. “Each session will have a specific lesson upon which the event’s theme will center.”

“We plan to make each event fun, but with a clear objective,” concluded Trey. “Inclusiveness is important as well. Each team member must feel comfortable participating in the activities. The goal is to provide associates with skills needed for success. It’s important that everyone has a positive experience in order for training to be a win. That’s a key measurement for us.”
