Triangle Direct Media Sponsors WakeMed Charity Distance Festival

Online, April 23, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The WakeMed Cary Distance Festival is a charity fun run consisting of two separate races: a 5Krun/walk and a 10K run on a USA Track and Field certified course through beautiful downtown Cary. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this May 4 event will benefit the Cary Rotary Charitable Foundation and will be used to support the organization's various programs and initiatives.

Backing local and international nonprofit groups via sponsorships and hands-on volunteer work is nothing new for TDM. The seven-year-old online marketing company, helmed by President Anthony Feriozzi, has previously lent support to the Turner Syndrome Society of the U.S., the World Wildlife Federation, and Stop Child Trafficking Now (SCTNow), among others.

Registration forms for the WakeMed Cary Distance Festival may be completed online until May 2; in person at Inside Out sports from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 2; and on race day starting at 6:30 a.m. The cost is $15 per participant for entries received prior to April 26th, $20 for entries received before May 4, and $25 for race-day registration.
