"Transtint": A Window Tint Application That Changes to Dark When Sun Is Bright to Clear View at Night
New York, NY, July 2, 2016 (Newswire.com) - There are few things worse when in a vehicle than having to continuously squint due to the power of the sun. Transtint was developed to help this problem and is a specially formulated tinting film for automotive glass. The design intent of Transtint is to provide motorists with a tint that will darken as the sun gets bright while clearing on cloudy overcast day and clear after nightfall.
The Transtint is a complete line of auto window tinting specially formulated to adjust its shade according to the amount of light that is projected on it. Reminiscent of the technology used in eyeglass lenses called photochromic or sometimes transition lens, Transtint will adjust depending on the amount of exposure to ultraviolet light. The active ingredient in photochromic lenses that changes their shading is silver halide and this is infused throughout the Transtint to achieve the same purpose. It is also offered in a plastic film format and customized into kits that are cut to accommodate a particular make and model of an automobile. It also will include detailed instructions on how to apply to the windows. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Transtint.
The Patent Pending Transtint was invented by Robert Bukovinszky of Mission Viejo, CA who said, “After I had applied a traditional window tint to my vehicle I had difficulty driving and seeing at night and I developed Transtint from that situation. It darkens according to the amount of light so one can drive in a hot sunny without being blinded and it works equally well for the driver coming home at the end of the day during the sinking of the sun. It works perfectly.”
