Top Women Executives in Retail Collaborate at Remodista's Global Community Day

Fortune 1000 Leaders Gather for a Day of Business Disruption in New York and Sydney

 — Remodista, Inc., a social think tank focused on bringing disruptors across business areas together to cultivate women leaders and solve critical challenges that the retail and financial industries are facing, will host their 2018 Global Community Day and Women2Watch Award Show Thursday on September 20, 2018 in New York and Sydney. Remodista’s Global Community Day is elevating education and collaboration by inviting 120 of the most innovative C-suite executives and directors representing 50 different companies across retail, finance, and technology. This tight-knit environment facilitates a personalized, no-pressure space to innovate, build relationships and grow networks. This opportunity gives executives an opportunity to celebrate, acknowledge and explore business challenges by looking at the future of retail.

The New York event will be held at The Glasshouses located on 545 W 25th St, New York, NY 10001 and will feature the Third Annual Women2Watch Award Show, a Collective Think Workshop and an Innovation Lab.

We continue to be thrilled about the growth of our global community. This year we've included an educational component that rounds out the celebratory day, the Collective Think.

The Women2Watch Award Show honors 80 women leaders who have addressed and conquered especially difficult challenges across rapidly changing verticals. Remodista will recognize five honorees in its Women2Watch program with an Innovation Award. Past winners have included executives from Keds, Revlon, HBC Digital, Zazzle, and YogaSmoga.

“Women at Capgemini have played a critical role in our growth and success. For decades, we have and continue to invest in initiatives to cultivate women leaders within our company and in the industries we serve, and we are proud to sponsor the Women2Watch event,” said John Kenwood, North America Retail Portfolio Leader at Capgemini.

“We continue to be thrilled about the growth of our global community,” Remodista Founder and CEO Kelly Stickel said. “This year we’ve included an educational component that rounds out the celebratory day, the Collective Think.”

The Collective Think is an exclusive collaborative workshop bringing together 60 innovators, problem solvers and challenge seekers in retail and technology to resolve and predict challenges related to the internet of things, machine learning and artificial intelligence, customer experience, and commerce. The collective think is a new tool that measures innovation in a room, group, or business.

All attendees are welcome to attend the Innovation Lab to meet forward-thinking companies who have broken new ground with wearables, accessories, technology and solutions. This year’s event is focused on the vendors and retailers who are dedicated to crafting a seamless in-store experience, as well as to the backend technology that measures, tracks, and helps improve the customer experience. For example, OSF Commerce will be demonstrating their LIVE Style Studio and jOSeF, a humanoid robotic retail assistant.

PayPal, Capgemini, OSF Commerce, ContentSquare, Nisum and ATTRAQT are a few of the community sponsors. Remodista’s Community Day will kick off in Sydney with an award dinner for 50 retail leaders in Australia.
