Tongyeong, a City Specializing in Night Tourism in South Korea, Launches Night Tourism Packages and Conducts Promotions for Foreign Tourists
SEOUL, South Korea, December 4, 2023 (Newswire.com) - South Korea's first night tourism specialized city Tongyeong launched night tour specialized travel packages with Trazy, one of largest foreign FIT travel agencies of the country and began sales and promotions to encourage foreign visits to the city.
The developed travel product consists of a total of 10 products, including public transportation tickets to Tongyeong, admission tickets to tourist attractions, night activities such as sea taxis and yacht tours, and individual and small group tour packages. With the launching of the products, the city is also running a promotion that provides a 70% discount until December 15th through the trazy website.
The guided tour, designed for foreign FIT tourists, is a one-day or one-night course that allows visitors to enjoy the beautiful days and nights of without language barriers, including a professional guide, round-trip transportation, tickets to tourist attractions, and accommodations.
Tongyeong City was previously selected as Korea's first city in the night tourism specialized city development project conducted by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization in 2022 and has been developing and marketing various tourism elements. The developing and launching of the night tourism specialized products are aiming to raise awareness of Tongyeong City's tourism brand among foreign tourists and increase the effect of actual visits by providing global travel trends reflected packages.
Tongyeong City plans to promote Tongyeong's brand as a global night tourist destination beyond South Korea through the development and promotion of night tourism products and will continue to develop and promote customized tourism elements so that more foreign tourists can visit and enjoy Tongyeong.
