Times & Ywca O'ahu Team Up to Fight the Flu for Free
Oahu, Hawaii , April 18, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Times Pharmacy is pleased to announce its partnership with the YWCA of O‘ahu. Times Pharmacy is proud to provide the YW and its members with better, more convenient access to care. To kick off, Times will be hosting a series of flu shot clinics for YWCA Health & Wellness members, and to the greater downtown community.

We have a huge amount of respect for the institution and know we can help them extend their mission, and help their members reach their health and wellness goals,” said Patrick Uyemoto, Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Times Supermarket RX. “The free flu shot clinics will be held at the YWCA’s 1040 Richards Street location on April 17th and April 21st, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Both YWCA members, as well as non-members, are welcome.”
YWCA O’ahu was founded in 1900. Today, YWCA O‘ahu serves more than 4,000 women, and girls as the largest and oldest women’s organization in Hawai’i. “We’re incredibly proud to provide the community with a holistic approach to care through our Health & Wellness Program,” said Cecilia Fong, Director of Fund Development for the YWCA. “We offer convenient and cost-effective plans available to everyone and our full range of programming can fit into any busy schedule. Times Pharmacy is always looking for ways to provide the community with greater access to care. “We offer on-site flu shot clinics to businesses and are starting to take reservations for the 2017-2018 flu season. We are expecting our 2017-2018 flu shots to be available as early as September at all of our 13 locations on Oahu,” said Uyemoto. “Getting a flu shot is easy and does not require a prescription from your doctor. All Times Pharmacy locations can administer the shot and no appointment is required.”
