Thrive Home Furnishings© Announces Plans To Open 4 New Stores Within 14 Months
Los Angeles, California, April 27, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Thrive Home Furnishings, America’s premier manufacturer of mid-century style modern furniture, announced it will be opening 4 new stores in the next 14 months, according to the company CEO.
ThriveFurniture.com started out as an online retailer, and quickly gained a huge success and following. The company’s first brick and mortar store was opened in 2013 on Beverly Boulevard, just adjacent to Beverly Hills, in the midst of other high-end luxury furniture stores.
"We anticipate opening four new stores within the next 14 months. Each store will feature the unique, hand-crafted; mid-century style furniture that made Thrive Home Furnishings famous."
Christopher , Laudadio
Laudadio noted that the store was almost a necessity for the brand due to a wave of copycat websites and knock off products being sold online. He shared how that he does not mind the online competition, but expressed concern that the bulk of other online furniture being sold is lower in quality and, does not want Thrive to be grouped in with the masses. “Competing websites have improved dramatically in terms of overall look with digitally enhanced product images and rendering”, explained Laudadio. “Unfortunately, consumers are still unable to distinguish or judge the quality of the furniture online, in contrast to walking into an actual store”.
Laudadio believes that the store is perfect for the Thrive customer because they are a more sophisticated consumer than the average online shopper. Thrive customers are truly savvy and understand what quality furniture is, such as higher quality fabrics, and foams. The Thrive customer is less likely to be swayed by an aggressive online promotion such as free shipping or an absurd return policy. They are well informed and maintain a more comfortable level of income than the average consumer, so they are not opposed to paying more for the higher quality they want and expect.
After spending the afternoon at the Thrive store located at 8110 Beverly Blvd in Los Angeles (Thrive-showroom.com) it is clear that it is a wonderful place to shop. Thrive specializes in high end Mid Century Modern reproduction furniture. Much of the merchandise offered in the store is not available online, and is exclusive to the store. Some of the items are a bit pricey such as $150 candles and $500 serving trays, but the quality of these items is unparalleled and one of a kind.
At the Thrive store you can buy anything from eclectic kid’s toys to a mid-century hardcover furniture book, and then buy the actual furniture in that book!
