The Vanderpump Dog Foundation Announces Partnership With Phenom Foundation to Save More Dogs From Venezuela
LOS ANGELES, December 13, 2019 (Newswire.com) - On Dec. 11, 2019, the Vanderpump Dog Foundation partnered with Phenom Foundation, a 501(c)3 providing financial resources for dog rescue and adoption efforts around the globe, to bring over three dogs from Venezuela to the Vanderpump Dog Rescue Center in Los Angeles.
Prior to this partnership, Vanderpump Dogs has operated in Venezuela to provide food to 1,200 dogs in the Foundation’s partner shelter, perform two major surgeries and provide sterilization to 100 dogs per month. Dr. John Sessa, Executive Director of The Vanderpump Dog Foundation said, “This is just the tip of the iceberg in accomplishing our initiatives and goals in Venezuela. To date, we have provided over 125 weeks worth of food and have provided over 3,500 sterilization surgeries.”
The three dogs, Kira a two-year-old lab mix, Tita an 8-month-old terrier mix and Khalessi a one-year-old corgi mix, are currently available for adoption at the Vanderpump Dog Rescue Center at 8134. W. 3rd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90048. The center is open to the public 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-7 p.m on Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m Sunday.
