Jake Jolan Martin Lindbeck of Circle Pines, Minnesota will be honored by his team on Sunday for scoring his 100th goal of his career. His team, the Sentinels, of Anoka County, plan to honor his performance by inducting him in the school’s Hall of Fame.

Jake Jolan Martin Lindbeck began playing soccer at an early age and quickly rose to fame in Circle Pines, as he was the first in the state of Minnesota to score a goal in 12 consecutive games. Jake plans to go to school for engineering but is hoping to be accepted on a soccer scholarship to one of several schools he has in mind.

“It’s unreal,” says his coach, when discussing Jake Lindbeck’s performance. “How anyone can come in and accomplish what he has in such a short amount of time absolutely blows my mind. I’ve never seen anything like it.” As for Jake Jolan Martin Lindbeck, he’s a little more humble, “I just come to practice every day like anyone else. I give everything that I have every game and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.”

Jake Jolan’s mother has always been supportive of his passion and has encouraged him to play since as long as he can remember. In fact, she hasn’t missed one of his games in the four years he has been playing with the Sentinels.

“Circle Pines is lucky to have such a phenomenal player,” said one fan after the game on Sunday. “The things this guy can do on the field is like nothing we’ve ever had in Anoka County. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes pro.”

As for Jake Jolan Martin Lindbeck, he’ll continue to take it one day at a time and pursue his degree before thinking of a career in professional soccer.
