"The Safety Flash": Disorients and Confuses Aggressors
New York, NY, June 29, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Safe transportation and conduct through life is what everyone wishes for but cannot always be assured of due to the type of environment in today’s world. One way to maintain personal safety is using the new Safety Flash. It is a small, unassuming light that when activated will temporarily blind, disorient, confuse and deter an aggressive person or animal before an altercation occurs. It is a useful and fast deterrent against an approaching criminal instead of putting one’s self in harm’s way by interacting physically in a provocation. Using the Safety Flash allows the user to provide an escape opportunity before a criminal gets close enough to do harm. It is just as useful against animals because it will confuse the animal long enough to escape.
The Safety Flash is made of hard plastic, contains a lithium battery, a coil and an LED light. It fits comfortably and inconspicuously next to one’s keys on a keychain or even in a wallet, purse, book bag or jacket pocket. Due to its size, it fits discreetly anywhere. It can be attached to just about anything using a carabineer clip. Televised test marketing has recently been completed indicating strong consumer interest in the Safety Flash.
The Patent Pending Safety Flash was invented by Thomas Bianchi of Rancho Cucamonga, CA who said, “I came up with the idea while trying to think of a way to give my wife a safer form of protection when she was traveling by herself. It makes an ideal gift for anyone wishing to avoid altercations and both adults and children will benefit from its use. It works better than mace, weapons or other forms of personal protection because it causes no long-term harm to the user and enables one to keep a safe distance from someone he or she wishes to avoid. It is always ready and it works.”
