The Riverwalk Dining District is where Foodies come to feast on the many options of culinary excellence located in the Heart of Reno, Nevada. The Riverwalk features unique options in dining & entertainment showcasing selections from around the world. Adding the title of Northern Nevada's new "Dining District" is one more attraction for the community.

The cost is $20 per person pre-sale and $25 day of the event, FREE for children 10 years of age and under. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.renoriverorg/dining_district.html or during the day of the event. Tickets sales are limited to 700. Redeem tickets by presenting receipt at the new Reno Tahoe Visitor Center located in the Reno eNVy store, at 135 North Sierra Street Reno, during the day of the event, you will receive a food tour map as your formal admission to the self-guided tour during the day of the event.

The first "Dine The District" Self-guided Food Tour hosted by the Riverwalk was held on June 9th, 2012 and was an incredible success with tickets selling out two hours before the event began. With the already very popular monthly Wine Walk the Dine the District food tours will provide another opportunity for the community to enjoy the area. Some of the food tours participants include Wild River Grille, The Jungle, West St. Wine Bar, Noble Pie Company, Wild Garlic, Bumble Bee Blooms & Boutique, Imperial Bar & Lounge and an estimated 10-12 other merchants already located within the Riverwalk.

"We hope this event will continue to bring awareness, support and generate some additional revenue for the business after such a heavy winter located in downtown Reno" Said Britton Griffith. With the Riverwalk quickly growing to be the culinary epic center of the city the Associations goal is to create future quarterly food tours, progressive dining tours, a Riverwalk cookbook for the Reno area.

All the funds raised by the Riverwalk Merchants Association will help establish a safer, cleaner and more vibrant downtown area.
